One feature that I used fairly extensively on Volanta was the "pilot group" feature. This was good for small groups who are flying together regularly to log who has been flying the most, get some geeky stats etc.

Edit: Just as another thought, if we're going to be heading to a public beta, this may be a good way of getting more Volanta users to come across!

As far as I know, this is already planned, and will (probably) be done when we are entering public beta.
