[SOLVED]Flight switches to pushback phase automatically when using the MSFS202 walkaround mode

Featured Replies

  • App Version: ELEVATEX v2025.5.72251
  • Operating System: Windows
  • Priority: Mid
  • Description: Everytime when entering the walkaround mode, doesn't matter if it's at the beginning of the flight (spawns in walkaround mode) or at a later point in pre-flight. The tracking switches to pushback, leading to an incorrect reading of the off block time.
  • Reproduction Steps:
    • Start a Flight in MSFS24
      • either start tracking before starting the flight (or hitting "fly now")
      • go in walkaround mode after the start of tracking during pre-flight!
  • (This probably happends because during walkaround the XYZ coordinates of the character move, so the tool assumes the plane is actually moving, even though it's not)

Hey Ralue,

To prevent this from happening, we suggest you click start flight (in the top left of elevatex) once you have fully completed the walk around procedures (once in aircraft)

This is happening due to Elevatex getting mixed up between the movement of your character on the ground as we take data directly from the sim.

Kind regards,

George
