I submitted a feature request before that ended up with a better compatibility of replay phase. But it seems to be way direct, it just ended flight. I would recommend a mild approach that pauses the flight. This feature can be combined with auto flight completion that has a 15-sec countdown to the end of flight. If replay detected, auto completion pauses, and the countdown comes alive after the replay mode exits.
