ELEVATES will ask you to select a gate manually if you are pushing back from or going to a convertible gate which fits multiple aircraft sizes. (For example, in VHHH, N24L/R can park two C category aircraft like 737 or A320, and N24 alone can serve larger E category aircraft like a 777/A330). The thing is, if you forgot to choose one (which happens a lot to me, because during pushback stage, the pilot is quite busy performing checklist in sim) there will be time discrepancy of tracking the OFF Block time (Like your actual push back time will be set back for 1 or 2 minute.

Even if I have entered the correct departure / arrival gate in the plan page of ELEVATEX. The program still prompted a window and asked me to select a gate, thus causing a delay in recorded actual OFF-BLOCK time.

I kindly ask for help and wonder if there is a way to stop this from happening. Will the program automatically detect the correct convertible gate according to the aircraft category (For example, if the user is flying a larger aircraft, the program can automatically select N24 and not N24L/R in VHHH. or if the user entered the correct gate before pushback, the program can stop asking them to select the gate again, or allow the user to verify and edit the BLOCK time if possible.

We can look into automatically selecting a gate upon off-blocks/pushback if there isn't a gate option selected yet.

This has been resolved in an upcoming update.
