Hi team! I love how the new update shows the direction Elevatex is going. Since I heavily rely on my fleet manager to plan new flights, here are some things I discovered not working quite right since the update:

  • App Version: (Can be found under settings -> general) ex. ELEVATEX v2026.1.121400

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro

  • Priority: Mid

Search by type is missing

  • Description: If I want to show all aircraft of a type (e.g. A35K) in my fleet it is not possible anymore

  • Reproduction Steps: Navigate to aircraft section and search for A35K or A320 etc., try the old method typing "type" or "type:a320"

Search by location only works via search bar - not clicking the aircraft list on the map

  • Description: If I want to show all aircraft at a specific location I have to click the search bar, select Location, tap Enter Location and type and airport code, not only is this a lot more steps but the map is utilized

  • Reproduction Steps: Navigate to aircraft section and look for airplanes on the map, click on a location listing airplane registrations on the map

Map not updated according to search results (This has been an issue prior to the latest update)

  • Description: I want to see where aircraft of a specific criteria are located on the map, search for type, airline, etc. and see the results on the list but also on the map (like with flights)

  • Reproduction Steps: Navigate to aircraft section and search for Aircraft "DLH" (Shouldn't this be called Airline?), then search for Location "EDDM"

Thanks for your great efforts! I really appreciate it.

Hi,
"Search by type is missing" - If you go to the search bar and search for "Designator" it will then allow you to insert the plane's code.
The last two have been added to our backlog, and we are aware.

Thanks

Hi Trei!

"Search by type is missing" - There is no "Designator" option and if I enter the word and search for it nothing ever happens...

  • App Version: (Can be found under settings -> general) ex. ELEVATEX v2026.1.130237

Thank you for adding the other ones on backlog. I hope they make it into the product soon.

Hi, you should be able to search for the designator if you go into the search bar on your flights. Sorry for not including this information in my last post.
in the "Aircraft" tab, for example, "A21N" will show you all 321 Neos.

Thanks

Hi!

I am only referring to the "Aircraft" tab here. If I enter "A320" just in the search bar I get no results:

If I enter "A320" as "Aircraft" I get no results:

I don't see any other way how to do this. I think the search bar should be able to search for anything or add more filter types rather than "Aircraft", which only referrs to airlines, or "Location". If you rename "Aircraft" to "Airline" and add "Aircraft Designator" (e.g. A20N, B738,...) but also Registration (e.g. D-AINE, N414DZ,...)

image.png

You could even add ON/OFF filters to the filter button like "Flights tracked" to find aircraft ever used, and "No flights tracked" to find aircraft never used,...

I know a lot of those might be considered "suggestion" but as much as I love the tool right now, managing aircraft feels a lot more complicated and restricted to me than before the big update.

Thank you :)

Hi team!

I love the way this is going ❤️☺️

  • App Version: (Can be found under settings -> general) ex. ELEVATEX v2026.1.160208

Search by type is missing

  • This is working now, but the filter "Designator" is not shown. It is possible though, to enter the designator directly into the search bar.

  • After deleting the designator (e.g. "A20N") from the search bar and press the Enter key the results are updating again. But if you click anywhere on the screen it goes back to filtering and adds "Airline" to the search bar, filtering to your previous results. I imagine a "Clear all filters" option would help..?

(SOLVED) Search by location only works via search bar - not clicking the aircraft list on the map + Map not updated according to search results

  • Clicking on a location on the map now works and filters correctly. The list and map are updated according to the filter, I'm so happy! Thank you!

The "Designator" seemed to have some issues. Although it should be fixed: [Aircraft] Added search functionality by "designator" to quickly locate specific aircraft.

Thanks

Hi Trei!

(SOLVED) Search by type is missing

  • This is working now, the filter "Designator" is shown and works as expected.

Reset of search not working as expected

  • After deleting a search term from the search bar and press the Enter key the results are updating, but if you click anywhere on the screen it goes back to filtering and adds "Airline" to the search bar, filtering to your previous results. I imagine a "Clear all filters" option would help..?

We can look to adding a "Clear all filters" option.

Thanks

Sounds great Trei, Thank you 😍

The issues above have been solved, as for the clear all that would be a suggestion and can be placed under suggestions. As for this topic it has been resolved and will be archived.
