The weekend has arrived, so has the release date and time for the new update!

Hi Aviators! The weekend has arrived, and with it comes our new update, which is being finalized as we speak. We’ve received the green light from our QA team after successfully completing testing. Over the past 3-4 weeks, we’ve been refining the app fixing issues and making usability improvements based on feedback.

We hope you’ll enjoy the update as much as we do! Full patch notes for this update will be published before the systems come back online on Sunday.

Downtime

Starting: 11th of January at 0400z (UTC)

We anticipate a downtime of approximately 1-2 hours on Sunday, January 11, beginning at 04:00 UTC. Most of the data was migrated to our new database system a few days ago. However, since that migration, some data may have been added, updated, or removed. To ensure everything is fully synchronized, we will run a smaller final migration at the start of the downtime to bring the new database fully up to date. By completing the bulk of the migration ahead of time, we expect to minimize the length of the downtime.

We appreciate everyone’s patience on Sunday as we complete this process. All services will be unavailable during the downtime, so please be sure to schedule flights that land before it begins.

For anyone concerned about data loss, you may create a data export at any time before the scheduled downtime. While we do not yet have an import feature, this allows you to keep a personal copy of your data safely stored on your own device.

We do not anticipate any data loss, but this option is available for anyone who would like extra peace of mind during the migration.
