Development Update 24-12-2025

With the recent quiet period, you may have been wondering whether anything is happening behind the scenes. Rest assured, there’s been a lot of progress; much of it just not immediately visible. Just over a week ago, we delivered the first initial build of the brand-new app to our QA (testing) team. The response has been very positive, and we’ve already received extensive feedback and bug reports.

Over the past week and a half, we’ve resolved more than 50 bugs and implemented 23 improvements and additions to the app.

Based on our current pace, we’re aiming to finalize this app build by the end of the year or during the first week of ’26. After that, we’ll be shifting most of our focus to the Virtual Airlines integration, which is already partially complete.

The release of the app rewrite will coincide with a period of downtime, as we’ll be migrating to a new tech stack. We’re completing as much of the heavy lifting as possible ahead of the release to keep this downtime to a minimum. More details will be shared closer to launch.

Virtual Airlines

We originally planned to have VA completed and ready for launch by the end of this month. However, as mentioned in our previous forum post, we decided to prioritize the app rewrite instead. You can find some early previews of the app in the last dev update, though a lot has changed since then.

We’re now estimating a VA release by the end of January. This is a conservative timeline to give us some flexibility.
