ELEVATEX Open Beta Release Timeline has Arrived! | Dev Update 2

Hey everyone!

 

We’re back once again with our development update. After the major update, a lot of progress has been made across multiple areas of the app, significantly improving stability, resolving some bugs, and preparing systems for future updates and features.

 

As of this past week, we pushed a few back-end focused alpha builds that fixed some bugs affecting the connector, profile system, overlays, and core app behavior. These were some minor bugs that were caused by the major update, but they have all been fixed and the app is running great once again.

 

We also made a major improvement to the streamer overlay system, that now includes a built-in discovery server, meaning that it can now automatically detect the port your streaming app is using. This should make setting up much smoother going forward. Speaking of going forward we are planning beta release between the 22^nd and 29^th of this month.

 

On the connector side of things, we resolved an issue that caused memory buffer overflows in some cases, which led to unexpected disconnects and crashes. Along with this fix there have been some smaller QOL bugs like map styles settings not saving between sessions along with other bugs and suggestions that have been fixed/added.

 

We’re moving closer to wrapping up this phase of alpha development and expect a timeline for beta release soon. The latest changes have helped prepare us for this release. Once we add some more features and make sure the app is at a point where we are confident that it will blow your expectations away, we will begin planning wider access.
