As mentioned in our previous post, we will post an update at the end of each week to update everyone on our latest developments. Where are we now? We are currently in the stages of finalizing the build of a large update, which is planned to be released to our Alpha testers on Wednesday, April 9th at 04:00z with an expected downtime that has been communicated internally as this is a rather large update with new features, stability improvements and a lot more! To lift up the curtain a little bit we will reveal one of the features we have been working on behind the scenes. We have implemented the ability to perform Diversions! You can select either of the alternates that you filed together with your Simbrief OFP or simply select one en route on the fly from our beautiful UI. As soon as you start the diversion, your flight state will reflect this, and people tracking your flight on our public map will see the same, think of this as what you see on FR24 when an aircraft diverts! What is next? Based on the feedback we will receive after the update on Wednesday, we will have a much better indication of when we will be ready to move into our Open Beta phase, still on track for this month! There are still some things that are moving their way towards completion in a few areas, but these have been clearing up slowly. You can expect another update at the end of next week!
