The most important page to make ELEVATEX completely yours, The settings menu is designed to give you full control over your ELEVATEX experience, keeping your account secure and up to date while providing easy access to the latest features and information.

 

General

 

 

The Settings menu in ELEVATEX is your central hub for managing the app and your account preferences. Here’s what you can do on this page:

• Check for Updates:
  • Easily check if there’s a new version of ELEVATEX available to ensure you’re always running the latest features and improvements.
• View the Changelog:
  • Stay informed about recent updates and changes. The changelog, which is posted on the forums, details all the latest enhancements, bug fixes, and new features added to ELEVATEX.

 

 

Account

 

 

Account Management:

• In the account section, you can manage everything related to your ELEVATEX account, including:
  • Profile Picture: Upload or change your profile photo.
  • Email Address: Update your registered email.
  • Status/Bio: Edit your personal status or biography for your profile.
  • Security: Set up or manage two-factor authentication (2FA) for added account security, or change your password at any time.
  • Devices Tab: View all devices currently signed into your ELEVATEX 
  • account. If you notice any unfamiliar or suspicious devices, you can log them out with a single click to protect your account.

 

 

 

Preferences
Here's where you can customize settings to tailor ELEVATEX exactly how you like it.

 

 

This is the central hub for customizing the application to fit your needs perfectly. On the "App" tab within Preferences, you can adjust various settings to control how the application looks, behaves, and integrates with other services. Let's break down each option:

 

• Language: Make the application feel right at home by selecting your preferred language from the available options. We support multiple languages so you can use the application comfortably.
• Version: This dropdown allows you to switch between different application versions if available. However this won’t be important for now.
• Minimize: When enabled, this option changes the behavior of the close button. If it is toggled on it will close to the task manager so it stays open. If it's off it will simple close the app fully.
• Start With System: Toggle this on if you want the application to launch automatically every time you start your computer. This ensures it's always ready when you need it.
• Discord Rich Presence: Enable this feature to display your flight data within ELEVATEX directly on your Discord profile, letting your friends see what you're up to.
• Auto Fetch Images: When active, this setting automatically fetches relevant aircraft images when creating a new aircraft from Planespotters.net
• Auto Create Aircraft: This option automatically adds new aircraft entries within the application based on your activity in supported flight simulators (like MSFS 2020/2004 & P3D). This helps keep your aircraft library up-to-date without manual input.

 

 

 

In units you can select what units you want to use inside your application, you can also override the units you get in your simbrief OFP

 

 

 

On these two pages you can simple choose if you want to automatically start/stop tracking. Choose your weather rader you wish to use. Also you can hide your vatsim aircraft. 

NOTE: If you want the hide vatsim aircraft option to work you must have your vatsim id linked in connections, more about that below.

 

 

Connections

 

The Connections tab is a vital part of setting up ELEVATEX, as linking your external accounts here unlocks many of the application's most powerful features and ensures seamless integration with services you already use. Getting these connections configured is highly recommended to get the best experience.

Here’s a breakdown of the available connections:

• VATSIM Network: Connect your VATSIM account here (Insert your CID). This integration enables exclusive functionalities within ELEVATEX related to the VATSIM network, enhancing your online flying experience.
• Navigraph & Simbrief: This is a crucial connection for flight simulation enthusiasts. Linking your Navigraph account is essential ("a must") to import your flight plans directly from Simbrief.
• Discord: Connect your Discord account to ELEVATEX. We strongly suggest setting this up. It's also used to automatically grant you the appropriate roles within the server, such as Alpha tester roles, based on your ELEVATEX status.

 

 

 

Streaming

 

 

Here we have the streaming options, in the general tab you have:

• Overlay Discovery server, this is required is you want to use the streamer overlay. https://widgets.elevatex.app/stream/bar this is the link you will have to use inside your streaming app.
• Twitch bot is used to enable the bot
• Streamer mode
• Start predictions, this will automatically run based on what you set. You can also use the !startpredictions command in the twitch chat to run it.

 

 

 

 

Here you see a few other settings, if you wish to use the twitch bot these have to be filled.

• Twitch username: enter your twitch username of the account where you want to use the bot
• OAuth code: this is required if you wish to use the bot in your twitch chat, you will be redirected to a website where you will receive a code.

 

 

 

 

On these two pages we have:

• Customize
  • Here you can choose your own custom text you wish to show when that certain event happens. If you wish to activate them make sure in the bot tab you have the bottom 3 options toggled on so they will automatically pop up.
• Cooldowns
  • Here you can set cooldowns for all the twitch bot commands we have

 

Here are all the commands that are currently avalible

• !predict {number}      NOTE: this one will only work when predictions are started

 

 

 

Plugins

 

This area is dedicated to managing the plugins that enable ELEVATEX to connect and interact with certain flight simulation platforms. Establishing these connections is key to allowing ELEVATEX to track flights, fetch data, and provide integrated features for your chosen simulator.

For some simulators, a specific plugin needs to be installed to bridge the communication gap. On this tab, you can see which simulators require such a standalone plugin.

 

NOTE: Make sure you have these redist installed

If you don't have these installed ELEVATEX will not connect to your simulator.

 

 

Scenery scanner

 

 

The Scenery tab provides a convenient way to view and manage the custom scenery add-ons you have installed for your flight simulator(s). The installed sceneries will show up on the map inside the app (If the filters are enabled).

Its primary function is to scan your simulator's installation, particularly looking in common locations like the community folder, to detect any third-party airports you have installed.
To start this process, simply use the "Scan" button. Once the scan is complete, this tab will display a list of all the sceneries it found.

 

 

Data

 

 

The "Data" tab is where you can perform significant actions related to the data stored within your ELEVATEX account. The options here are powerful and should be used with caution, as they involve data removal

 

• Reset your account
  • This will remove all your data that you have. Including flights/aircraft. 
• Remove your account
  • This will remove your account completely from our database, if you do this we won't be able to recover any of your data

 

 

 

 

On these pages you can import/export your data.
 

• ELEVATEX
  • Here you can export your elevatex data, simply folow the steps
• Volanta
  • Here you can import your Volanta export file, simply follow the steps and you're data will be imported
